Connect, upload art, and control your Frame TV from your computer. Free and lightweight.
DownloadI believe Samsung The Frame is a work of art, but the experience of controlling it isn't quite "artistic" yet. Having to pay high Art Store subscription fees, or struggling with SmartThings and USB just to upload an image are unnecessary barriers.
So I built EzFrame to address the limitations of the old way:
Replace expensive Art Store subscriptions with your own personal storage.
Upload images instantly without the complexity of SmartThings or USB.
Smart art library management, allowing frame changes and bulk deletion with just a few taps.
I hope EzFrame will help add inspiration to your living space every day.\n\n— @viet241
Automatically finds your Frame TV on the network—no manual IP entry needed.
Drag & drop to your TV. Batch upload with preset matte. Unlock 4 hidden mattes.
Browse and manage your entire art collection. Bulk delete, change matte, set slideshows—all in a few clicks.
Full TV control from your desktop, with hotkeys so you never have to leave your computer.
There are hidden mattes you can't activate on the TV or SmartThings: Mix, Squares, Triptych. EzFrame lets you use them when uploading art.
Whether you send artworks via USB, The Frame TV always applies a matte—Samsung picks one by default. EzFrame lets you choose which matte to use instead.

EzFrame is a free desktop app that makes managing your Samsung The Frame TV effortless. It replaces expensive Art Store subscriptions and complex SmartThings workflows with a simple solution that runs entirely on your local network. Connect, upload art, manage your library, and control the TV from your computer. It is completely free: no subscriptions, no ads, no data collection.
Supported TV: Samsung The Frame; your computer and TV must be on the same network. EzFrame is also expected to work on the latest Tizen-powered devices. EzFrame runs on macOS (10.15+), Windows (10+), and Linux (e.g. Ubuntu 20.04+). Pick your platform in the Download section below and grab the right build. If macOS or Windows shows a security warning on first launch (the app is not code-signed), allow it in system settings—see the Install guide for steps.
No. EzFrame only helps you send and manage your own images on the TV. See the "Where can I get artwork?" section for suggested sources.
For now, there are no plans. EzFrame is a hobby project, not a commercial product. Releasing on app stores would require a paid developer account and selling the app to sustain it; the aim is to keep EzFrame free for everyone.
EzFrame doesn't have this feature yet—I find the built-in filters quite ugly and I'm not sure anyone would want to use them. If Samsung improves them in the future, I'll add support in EzFrame.
No. EzFrame is not open source. It's a personal hobby—I built it for fun and wanted to share that joy. I use GitHub mainly to host files and handle the in-app updater. I'd like to keep it a simple, personal project without the added pressure of managing contributions or public code.
EzFrame does not provide images. It only helps you send your own art to The Frame TV. Here are some places to find artwork:
